Robin Newton is a media relations professional with more than two decades of experience connecting national news organizations with journalists and audiences nationwide including C-SPAN, WTOP News and B.E.T. (Black Entertainment Television). She specializes in strategic communications, media outreach, and elevating stories that highlight impactful programs and initiatives.  Robin began her career in media while still in college working as a copy editor for The Pendulum Newspaper. Outside of her professional work, Robin is active in industry and community leadership. She serves as the Marketing and Communications Chair for The WICT Network’s DC/Baltimore chapter and mentors youth as Chair of the NNBA Millennial Alumni Council.  Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communications from Elon University and a master’s degree in communications from Trinity Washington University. She lives in the Washington metropolitan area and loves traveling whenever she gets the chance.

Randi Ayala is a multimedia journalist with experience in top-tier newsrooms, including CBS, FOX, and NBC affiliates, covering local, national and global stories in high-pressure environments like Washington, D.C., a top 10 media market. Randi has led coverage of major events, delivering compelling narratives through exclusive interviews with political figures, tech CEOs, internationally recognized industry leaders, and others. Drawing from nearly a decade working in fast-paced newsrooms, Randi supports the podcast’s editorial direction, guest preparation, and episode structure — ensuring each conversation feels honest and resonates beyond the surface. She brings a reporter’s instinct for storytelling, clarity, and audience engagement to the podcast space.
